“We are thrilled to begin the construction of the new fire station at Tracy Hills that will provide emergency services to all of Tracy Hills along with south Tracy residents,” said John Stanek, principal of Integral Communities.
“We worked closely and collaboratively with RRM Design Group and a committee of firefighters to design a station that not only meets our strict design standards but also offers residents a station that features the most advanced life-saving and firefighting technology.”
The new station will be staffed and operated by the South County Fire Authority (SCFA), which operates under a joint powers agreement between the City of Tracy and the Tracy Rural Fire Protection District (TRFPD). While the primary response area will be the master-planned community, the fire station will also respond to emergencies on I-580 north to Patterson Pass Road and south to the county line.
“As Tracy continues to grow, it’s important that our public safety services and infrastructure grow with it,” said Tracy Mayor Robert Rickman. “The groundbreaking of Fire Station 95 reflects an investment in our community’s safety, and I am proud that it will be housed by the brave men and women of the South County Fire Authority.”
“The opening of Fire Station 95 will be a key component to providing comprehensive fire protection and first responder paramedic services to south Tracy,” said South County Fire Chief Randall Bradley. “We look forward to being part of the Tracy Hills community.”
